Culture of Israel
The Israeli culture is very different from all the other countries in the world. Most people who live their speak Hebrew, but not much people know that they also speak Arabic and English. Israel takes up most of the Biblical Holy land. It is where Abraham the father of Jews established a Semitic population in the Holy land. Although not all of them are Jewish, 3 out of 4 of the population are Jews, lots are Christian, Juda, Islam, and Druze.
The music in Israel is a combination of both Jewish and non-Jewish Traditional music. The style of their music is a contribution of classic, jazz, pop rock. Many of the world's most top classical musicians are Israelis, and classical composers have been the best orchestra worldwide. The state of Israel makes art mostly based off of Bible stories and the culture of their world today. Sports have helped the country increase in population and economy. Best at soccer and basketball and sometime tennis.
The Holidays celebrated in Israel is very unusual from the country you live in today. Celebrating Passover is the day to remember when Jews were freed from their slavery. Another holiday is Israel's independence day when Israel separated from Palestine. And one of the most loved holidays in Israel, Hanukkah or also known as, a eight day celebration of when long a go a small band of Jews defeated on of the largest armies on Earth to reclaim the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
The popular food found in the country is hummus which is eaten many different ways in the Israeli homes. A loved dessert that can be found almost anywhere all over the country in malls and on the streets in food stands is Crepes. And their Pita bread the "Nation bread" of Israel. There is all kinda of exotic foods to find in Israel. This country has one of the most interesting culture I have heard of.
